Holly Willoughby ‘counting on’ Dan to revive golden girl status

Holly Willoughby has enjoyed ‘golden girl status’ in the TV industry over last 20 years.

But now, she’s goes through a rough patch in her career,  she is relying on her TV producer, Dan Baldwin, to help her make a big comeback.

A source tells Closer: ‘Dan has been an incredible support, but he’s under pressures running his production company.

The source added that Holly expects her husband to help her land the next big show and reclaim her ‘golden girl status.’

Dan has several primetime hits under his belt, including Gladiators and Michael Mclntyre’s Big Show. He has also worked on shows Holly has fronted, such as Celebrity Juice, Take Off with Bradley and Holly and Freeze The Fear With Wim Hof.

‘Dan feels he needs to deliver a hit-not just for himself, but for her,’ the insider explains.

‘Holly sees other presenters with new projects as she is hoping he’ll be able to make it work.’

This comes after Roxy Media, a production and management firm co-run by the TV presenter and her husband, Dan, was granted more time to settle a £377,000 tax bill.

The case was previously adjourned for 12 weeks in April, with another extension  granted in July, after the court heard that Holly’s firm planned to take the case to a tax tribunal.

Roxy Media has since applied for a further adjournment pending the outcome of that appeal, which has now been granted by a judge.
